This is such a simple recipe and tastes just like an orange creamsicle. It’s delicious served alongside fruit or cookies.
4 ounces (113 grams) cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon orange zest
1/2 cup (55 grams) powdered sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup (60 ml) whipping cream
Add cream cheese, vanilla, and the orange zest to a medium bowl, then beat on medium speed with a hand mixer until smooth (or use a stand mixer with a paddle attachment).
Add powdered sugar a little at a time, mixing after each addition.
Add the orange juice, then beat until smooth.
Pour in the cream and continue to beat with the mixer until thick and creamy, about 1 minute.
