Surprises are everywhere, arn’t they? We love that. Wouldn’t life be boring if you always knew what was next or what one decision or another will bring? Some surprises are better than others; for example, about a month ago the “check engine light” on my car came on while at the same time the cruise control light decided to blink – that is not a good surprise. But then again, the first time we got a view of the Eiffel Tower when we visited Paris, we were gobsmacked – that was a great surprise!
When we started this blog in 2009, we had no insight as to what surprises we may encounter, and there have been many! From day one, we have been overwhelmed by the support and dedication of the food blogging community. Since 2009, we have been blessed to meet, whether through email, blog comments or in person, so many incredible individuals who have found joy in food, cooking and sharing that passion with others, just as we do. It is for this reason, we have for many months now, wanted to start a new tradition here at Inspired Taste. We absolutely LOVE meeting and learning about the lives and inspirations of fellow bloggers, it helps us form a better understanding of what we are doing and most importantly, it keeps us grounded. We have learned so much from others and know there is just so much more to learn – that is why this is all exciting, why we love surprises.
So, to make a long story not as long, we plan to share personal interviews with fellow bloggers right here, since we believe this can be as inspiring to you as learning about the work and lives of others is to us. We are not sure where this will take us, or who we will have the pleasure to meet, but we are excited. We have our very first interview ready to go and we could not be more honored to share her stories with you. She loves all things bacon, has been one of our biggest supporters since the beginning and has the most incredible knack of making your heart just melt! Her name is Wendi. Her blog is Bon Appetit Hon and we cannot wait to share her interview with you.
Okay, that wasn’t too long-winded, was it?
Love, Joanne and Adam
